There is no doubt that StrayShot is catching serious momentum with the series of events rolled out over the last few weeks! In the same light, we have a public beta session lined up for Friday, March 22, 2024, at 6:30 pm GMT+4, and as usual, we’ll summarize the most exciting game updates you can expect to see. Let’s dig in!

  • First up, we’ve given the UI a fresh look. The Main Menu background now has a daytime look, unlike the night one it had before. Similarly, we changed the cave setting and replaced that with a gritty, immersive shed environment. We’ve also added a new camera animation to the character selection screen, making choosing your avatar more engaging.
  • Team tags have undergone a sleek and intuitive redesign. We removed the glowing player names in favor of a clean, minimalist dot indicator that keeps your focus on the action. Plus, teammate names now dynamically hide when obscured by walls or objects, ensuring your view remains less cluttered on the battlefield.
  • We’ve reduced the match duration in Team Deathmatch to keep things moving faster. We also adjusted the point system to maintain a perfect balance. These changes are the result of both your feedback and our own rigorous internal playtesting.
  • The camera system has been fine-tuned to provide a more immersive and focused experience. The character models are now more zoomed in, offering a clear and comprehensive view from head to knees. This change enhances the player’s ability to anticipate the action and make accurate movements and decisions during gameplay.

As always, we appreciate your feedback, which drives us to keep pushing the boundaries and refining the StrayShot experience. Keep them coming – we’re always listening.

Remember to join us on Discord to stay updated with the latest game news, patches, and future beta sessions we have.

See you on the battlefield, hunters!
