Team Deathmatch is a classic multiplayer shooter mode in StrayShot that pits two teams against each other in a fast-paced, action-packed battle.

The objective is simple: eliminate enemy players to score points for your team. The team with the highest points at the end of each match wins.

But the truth is, it never comes this easy…

Remember the following things to give you and your team the best chance at dominating this game mode.

Map Control and Power Positions

Gaining control of critical areas on the map can give your team a significant advantage.

You can identify power positions, such as high ground, choke points, or vantage points, that offer a clear view of the battlefield.

Always work with your team to secure and hold these positions before the enemy does.

Loadout Selection and Adaptation

Choose your loadout wisely based on the map and your play style.

For example, the Guerra Hills map offers tall buildings and structures perfect for snipers. Imagine getting into this map with ONLY a short gun — you already know you are in trouble.

Consider the range of engagements you’ll likely encounter and select weapons and equipment that suit those situations.

Flanking and Surprise Attacks

Catching the enemy off guard is the number one game-changer in Team Deathmatch.

Be strategic in splitting up and approaching the enemy from different directions. This will force them to divide their attention, making it easier for them to be removed from the battlefied.

Respawning and Regrouping

In Team Deathmatch, players typically respawn after being eliminated, allowing them to jump back into the action.

When you respawn, take a moment to assess the situation and regroup with your team.

Avoid rushing into the fray alone, which often leads to quick elimination. Instead, coordinate with your teammates and push together as a unit.

TLDR; Tips for Dominating Team Deathmatch:

  • Communicate constantly with your team to share information and coordinate your actions. Do this through our Discord voice chat during your sessions.
  • Control critical areas of the map and use them to your advantage.
  • Adapt your loadout based on the location of battle.
  • Regroup with your team after respawning and push together as a unit.
