Welcome Hunters!
We have introduced a clan system in StrayShot to enhance gameplay and foster a sense of community. This feature allows hunters to create clans, invite members, or join existing ones within the StrayShot community.
The clan system enables you to organize internal play sessions, providing more opportunities to test the game and enjoy the experience together.
We currently have 6 indigenous clans, each with its own unique identity.
This guide will teach you everything you need to know to establish your own clan or join an existing one.
How to Setup a Clan
The first step is to join our Discord community, which allows you to assemble your squad or bring them externally into the community.
Here’s what you should exactly do:
- Gather at least 10 gamers (active members) ready to battle.
- Choose a unique one-word tag that tells us all about you ( just as you have #wolfgang, #Lezduit…)
- Finally, please open a support ticket on Discord and provide us with these details.
Once you’re done…
We’ll review your list and approve the respective roles. Then, a custom discord channel will be created to house your clan chit-chat and bonding.
Now, to the fun part…
Once your clan is all set up and approved, clan leaders can start hosting custom matches immediately. They do this by opening the game and inviting clanmates with their in-game usernames.
To ensure smooth competition, always plan and schedule your matches beforehand, at least 30 minutes in advance in GMT. The system will then automatically send invites to your clanmates, making it effortless for everyone to join the gaming session.
Picking a location
With the match set and your clanmates ready, it’s time to choose your battlefield. You can explore our various maps and pick the ones you want to try.
Each clan has a weekly server allowance, so plan your matches wisely. Cancellations can affect your server allocation, so make each session count.
How Do you Join an Existing Clan?
- Head over to Discord.
- Tag any moderator or admin and ask them to point you to a clan that is actively recruiting members.
Note that each clan has a short elevation pitch in the “#threads” section of the server. We recommend you read those first to be sure you are joining the right clan FOR YOU.
